 |
|
Ok this isn't as daft as it seems. I was going to buy a crashed ducati for seriously cheap only to find it has been sold today. So I'm a bit down hearted that I have only 2 1/2 bikes instead of 2 and 2 halves as normal (I just sold my VFR to pay for the Ducati). So does anyone know where I can get a crashed Ducati, or to be honest any bike. I have no intentions of buying a 'working' bike ever again because I enjoy building them. So really I need to know some breakers that sell class B / C write-offs or even insurance companies that sell them off.
Any help would be great
Cheers,
Diehard800
Oh and for anyone who wants to know, the Hayabusa parts are mounting up well! ____________________ If I Die... I Die! |

I search there for about 2 hours everyday mate. Every keyword banged in the lot. Tend to get stuff from the states now, about 100% cheaper for bike parts over there. Hoping to get a Busa engine shipped over. Oh I also need an ipaq! See exchange and mark ____________________ If I Die... I Die! |

Breakers yards. Try the Yellow pages or www.yell.com maybe. Also doesn't the back of MCN for sale bit have loads of breakers yards ads? I may be wrong I haven't bought it for a while. |

Agree. Breakers usually have several bikes that they have received, that are waiting to be taken apart (they get more for them that way), but most are quite happy to sell the bike whole if a reasonable offer comes in. It saves them the work of taking the bike apart after all. ____________________ Dangerous traffic offences spotted on 50-minute trip: Lost count after 100. try https://www.blacksbikeshop.co.uk/
and have a look in the bikemart bit in the middle of mcn, there's usually quite a few breakers with lists of bikes for sale. |

Came across RS motorcycles in Halifax -
https://www.rsmotorcycles.co.uk/
Haven't tried them so can't personally say if they're ok.

Cheers people, and if anyone here has a crashed bike kicking around or an insurance write off, I'm all ears. Wish I could have got that Ducati though! ____________________ If I Die... I Die! |
