does anybody know how much fork oil and what type to use,in a honda cb500 1994.

Looks like 94 is the R model.
Because my CB forks are fucked and I'm feeling kind, from Haynes:

Fork Oil Capacity: 320cc
Fork Oil Level: 150mm

10W fork oil is the modern oil as all ready said
320cc

From my experience of CB500 if having fork seal problems they tend to hydro-lock drop oil to 300cc
