Blue and black, but depending on the lighting conditions and how your eyes and brain are wired up, can look white and gold.


Saw an article this morning with some sciencey words and stuff and a bit of visual examples of how it can look both based on context.


Its a bit like a mind illusion I guess, if your brain takes away the blue as the light source not the reflection then it makes it white

I saw this on my phone and it looked gold and white. Now on a PC it looks brown and blue. Maybe what you're viewing it on also has an effect?

Went for lunch downstairs in the canteen, saw this on TV and now it looks white and gold to me. I can't see it the other way again.

In the real world it's probably blue and black, in my pc world it's lilac/blue and brown

To me it look's like an egg shell white, and bronze. It's not a true solid colour. So you can't say it's either red white blue green. Or any other true colour.

Changed four times today now for me, the only things that have changed are the lighting condition, because it was the same photo on the same mates Facebook that I saw, so it wasn't to do with different levels of contrast/lighting of the photo.

My mind doesn't like this.
