 |

I rather like my Arai after owning a few cheap crappy helmets before it, but I don't like the hassle of either changing to a tinted visor or putting on/taking off sun glasses. Would quite like a helmet with Arai comfort and quality but with a sun visor type thing. Any suggestions? ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

Thanks for replies
The Shark Vision R seems nice, I do like the Caberg Ego too just worried about quality, may be a bit of a helmet snob, the sun roof thing is cool though. Will have to go to a few bike shops to try them on for fitment as I've got a fat heed (XL). ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

Why buy another helmet when you can just buy a visor. Someone else already told you the solution, the Arai Pro Shade. Job done.

I have one and sitting at 70mph+ on the motorway with it in the up position on a naked bike there's no more wind noise that I noticed. With it down it's perfect as your dials/hands will be in the clear part but everything else tinted. And with it up it acts like a peak on a cap, still shading your eyes a bit.
I'll be using this in place of a normal clear visor for commuting in spring and autumn or for those days when I might be out after the sun goes down. I have a dark tint visor too for those proper sunny days. ____________________ 00 Honda VFR800 | 09 Aprilia Tuono Factory

I have had two Schuberth C3's and love the helmet except for the problem in heavy rain when some creeps past the Visor Seal.
In any rain you need to have the visor locked shut and it isn't the easiest helmet to do it on. Unlocked and rain gets on the inside of the visor immediately and won't clear. ____________________ A Petrol Head in The Alps
