Hi guys I'm a new biker I ride a cbr 125 and I went out for the first time on it and a biker nodded at me it was so cool and made me feeel like part of the biking community, what does it mean is it just like hello or what and how do i nod back without looking stupid sorry for no ob question

You can nod or not. You can nod back, or not. Up to you really. I nodded to other riders all the time when I started riding, now I do it when I feel like it. If another biker nods and I notice I'll almost always nod back though. I like it best when it's a traditional crusier rider with the pisspot helmet and leather jacket etc, you nod and they nod back or turn their head like it's the most casual thing in the world. It's like a subtle acknowledgement that there's many ways to enjoy biking and they can all be good.

Was out riding yesterday, nodded at a guy on a sports tourer, ignored, nodded at a guy on a great looking sports bike, ignored, put my hand out to a girl on a CBR, ignored. The next rider I see is getting the cut-throat gesture.
