After a busy few months I finally have the time available to me to get on two wheels, however, because I've decided to go down the DAS route I need some riding school recommendations.

Basildon/Laindon/Southend areas would be ideal, if anybody has any experience with ART Rider Training I'd also like to hear it Thumbs Up

did my CBT with Anglia Bike Company out of Harlow...

Bit tatty (premises and the CG's they used) but the instructor seemed like a decent enough chap...

Would recommend if the price is right, but i'm sure there's better out there.

(just double-checked the website and they're closed for refurb until March - so that might sort it out a bit!)

ART rider training in Laindon? I cannot stress enough how good they are! I did my training and tests with them and found the instructors brilliant and lucy the small Asian admin girl is excellent at organising tests etc.

They are all just bikers wanting to earn a wage and help other bikers Thumbs Up

PM me if you want more info

Yes that's the one. I've been looking around at other places but they seem to the most convenient to get to, looks like I'll be heading up to Laindon! Thumbs Up

I would say tell them Connor sent you but I doubt after 2 years nearly 3, they would remember me. The guy with the long hair kinda native Indian looking is sweet as a nut and the other instructor, bald with MX boots was just as good, just a different take on teaching.

I've seen them all out and about since on their own bikes in the summer around the local haunts

I used Academy in Romford. Guy I had for CBT was a bit shouty but he's gone now anyway, and the others were good. Wife did her CBT with them last year and they looked after her (she does have nice tits though, so favouritism)

A big +1 to Academy in Romford. Done my CBT with them in December, the instructor I had was just fantastic and the bikes were in great condition. They really do look after each and every customer. Thumbs Up

Hey, I've just done DAS with https://www.passbike.co.uk - runs out of Southend, ex ambulance does advanced training, a lot of old customers still know him. Runs cb750's good relationship with the test center, I'd recommend them. Patient and a outstanding teacher and a true passion for the whole biking thing. Check a few out, I spoke on the phone and clicked so job done :up

I had good experience of CBT & DAS with https://www.1stopinstruction.com/ over in Ilford/Fairlop. Got me through lot first time, spread over 6 weeks, going from zero motorbike experience to full A license. During which I had time with about 3 or 4 different instructors of theirs - all very good.

Been having a look at ART, correct me if I'm wrong but to book a Mod 2 myself would be £75, this lot charge close to £200!

Yes but that's on their bike I'd suggest. The difference is bike hire. Cost of test doesn't go to the school
