OP, loud exhaust is not going to make your scooter sound like 600cc.

Save your future hard-earned money for a bigger bike.

You should totally do this, it makes perfect financial sense, and your bike will definitely sound like a litre V-twin.

Friday the 13th is National Sarcasm Day, right?

So there is nothing actually wrong with the exhaust?

My top tip of the day is don't get yourself into debt if you can avoid it.

Personally I would just save the money and put it towards doing you big bike test when your old enough.

Well played, sir. Well played indeed. 3rd bite. Clapping

So, CBR + fish or GTFO.

It seems wrong to even have to consider explaining the concept of a credit card to somebody old enough to ride a motorbike.

How much did you pay for it, that you want to waste 300 quid on something you do not need? Just put a card into spokes or something to make it sound grown up. Thumbs Up

Or use your wits and drill some holes into the baffle.

Op, I'll lend you the £300 so you can, in effect, finance your exhaust. All I ask is 8 cheques dated weekly for £65 each, your V5 and the bike itself as security.
