First time poster. Sorry if this starts a controversy!

Wearing back patches in the uk, like it or not, is controlled by the MC's. Do the MC's ever give any grief to LEMC's flying their colours- which they obviously don't ask the MC's for permission to wear. I wouldn't think that when the LEMC's are en-masse the MC's would get involved - for obvious reasons but what about the lone LEMC rider? Would they attract unwanted attention?

Obviously the 1%ers ain't gonna be fans of the LEMC's but do they just ignore them for fear of attracting the unwanted attention of the law or do they ever 'get involved'

Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club? Can't say I've seen many here in the UK - certainly not wearing colours - except for those who wear yellow and have a blue "POLICE" patch on their back. Don't hear about many 1%ers taking them out when they find them alone, either.

The whole "badass harley rider" thing doesn't really exist over here much. Frankly I'd be more intimidated by the south london tracksuit/hoody wearing yob on the rossi replica moped with a knife in his pocket.

Here in England, it's incredibly rare to see LEMCers or even 1%ers. I can remember the times I've seen Angels en masse because it's so unusual and to find the two of them together would be pretty weird.

Less rare is seeing the little black rat head on bikes in London which identifies police officers which is usually very discreet. They often pop it on the fairing at the front and it's tiny but just big enough to identify themselves to other law.

Only cunts wear patches. Bikes are for riding....not for being part of a gay club and riding your chrome ridden noise buckets.

There's quite a few LEMC's in the UK, blue knights being the obvious. But there's Lex Legio MC, Peelers Mc, Lost Saints MC, gunfighters to name but a few. They all have websites and openly advertise their activities. Just wondering whether they get any grief from 1%ers.

Have we established that LEMC's are Law Enforcement clubs??

I should imagine they get about as much grief from 1%ers as all those wannabes who advertise Harley Davidson on patches, ie non.
We get all three types rock up at the local bike nights (during the summer - seasonal bikers eh!! Wink ) and besides the fact that the Slaves park where they want and tend to ignore the stewards parking directions (and quite possibly don't pay to enter - although don't quote me on that) there's never any kind of grief from anyone.

LEMC? Isn't that a bit of a contradiction in terms?

I do enjoy people's misperceptions about MCs. I know a few that don't ride "chrome ridden noise buckets"... And I'm not sure I've met any "gay clubs"... perhaps you got tricked and ended up in G-A-Y? Laughing

Policemen who want to be in patch clubs must have the same sort of inadequacies as others who want to be in patch clubs.
