Unsurprisingly, the cheap tacky ones always appear to be most popular.

The article that this came from (short article, pointless, didn't need to link to it) has a comment from someone complaining that it only has 'England' for the UK. The author of the article responded by saying the research was only done for England.

So, Scottish and Welsh BCF people, feel free to suggest what your most popular beer might be. For Scotland I'm gonna have to go with Tennents. That's always my go-to cheapy pint when I'm there. Remember it's not about best tasting beer, but what is most popular by sales volume.

Sir, I feel the use of the word "Every" is incorrect within your title and you should apologise immediately.

And no I'm not talking about Wales or Scotland

I think it loads low-res then after a while replaces it with high-res. Kind of a nifty way of showing the image as fast as possible. It was blurry for me too then suddenly bits of it started to come into focus. Lots of websites do it these days.

I'm most impressed by how they managed to get beer sales data for North Korea..!

I think if NK started exporting their beer, the novelty alone would give them enough profits to make them a world superpower.

Also interesting to see Tuborg is the big one in Nepal. My Nepali friend told me this was the case but I really didn't believe a well-known European beer would be the most popular in a place so comparatively remote.

Also. I wonder what that map would look like if it were soft drinks. Coca Cola domination, then Irn Bru for Scotland? Thinking

The closest one that you'll find to your tastes is called Frulii. Give it a shot before you deliver your typical rant about kerosene.

Quoting the Reinheitsgebot (1487), beer consists of 3 ingredient. Water, barley and hops. Later on, when the microscope was invented, they also add yeast to the list, as a ingredient.

Now, what could possibly be wrong with that strawberry thing called Früli?

I think my dislike of beer might be because I am a supertaster, I don't know for sure, but I've seen a list of foods and drinks associated with dislike by supertasters and I hate most of them.

So a defunct German law is supposed to define what beer is in Belgium? Or anywhere else?

I'm going to say yes. I do not care what you or anyone else call beer. But when I order a beer, I want a beer, not a fizzy drink.

It's quite the same thing as what EU does today. Telling you what is butter and what is not, for example. I get, what I want/order and nothing that's just remotely similar. Thumbs Up

I hate Chang in Thailand. For 5 weeks I was accidentally getting shit-faced on it as I didn't realise it's 7% strength, and being unregulated can be as strong as 9%.

In South America it's really hard finding draught beer as it's all bottles. Also as an aside (not been there), Nigerian Guinness is evil and foul.

We're overlooking the fact that the Reinheitsgebot is now defunct, are we?
