So ive got the 7th-16th august off work due to factory shutdown and im contemplating going traveling again, the big question is where?
Last july I did a week round trip to the alps and back, although only did france and some of the swiss end of the alps, Id definatley like to go back but Id rather have a cheaper more relaxed riding style than the thrashing there and back that I did last time.
other than that im really out of ideas, well more I cant decide. Im currently deciding between the alps, maybe the vosages, or just saving money and doing peak/lake district or scotland.
So basically, where would you go with 10 days in august and £6-700 to play with?

Hi John,
maybe the region of Alsace and Black Forest could be an interesting part of mainland Europe to visit. History and landscape are rotating and for up to £6-700 it could be possible to stay and eat for up to 8-10 days!

Hey John, come over to India!
In 10 days i can take you around a lot of incredible sights in the Himalayas, from the holy banks of Ganga to some of the highest motor able roads in the world.
Your ride will be the Royal Enfield Classic 500cc EFI and all this can happen for less than half the price you have quoted, which will include all meals, all accommodations and my endearing company throughout the 10 days and local Daru( Indian Booze)

Up to Aberdeen via Perth, Braemar and Deeside, ferry to Shetland. Back across to Kirkwall on Orkney, Short ferry back to Gills bay, along the North coast, back down to Ullapool, Drop down to Sheil Bridge, Over Rattagan Pass, across to Skye from Glenelg, from Skye to Mallaig, Road to the Isles into Fort Bill, Glencoe.

I see you already have half an idea where you want to go. I stayed here for a few day. Cheap as chip's, and a good location. Lot to see if you look around, have W,fi so you can get on the net. not sure if it was free or a small charge per day. Take a tent this time. As it's a one time put up. Stay. Close down, then come home.
