Bike getting harder to start

Recently I've noticed when I start my bike it's takes longer to start & ages to warm up. I know it's silly but I could normally start it up wait about 1 minite and I'm off aslong as I keep the revs down low. But now if I start it up after about and leave it for a minite it'll still hardly move and sounds like it's flooding itself.

What could that be down to... A new spark plug do you think?

It would be a good idea to look at the plug as they dont last long in 2 strokes.

What bike is it?

How long do you leave the choke on for?

perhaps the choke is not opperating correcty, check all cables, springs and rubber components for stif opperation and cracking or leaking on rubber seals, and other hoses, maybe squirt some silicone spray onto the springs and exterior moving parts of the carburettor and spray the cables in their sheathes Exclamation

Hi

As above, the plug could well be getting past it.

Personally I ride off as soon as I can and knock the choke off as soon as I can.

Leaving it idling with the choke on will be flooding it.
