Is Hardly a Davidson having a laugh again?
Air cooled, 1,996cc, V-twin four stroke, doing about 106hp and 158Nm of torque. 58mm throttle body. The engine only fits into the ''Touring'' frame.
All that for 5,695USD or 5,582GBP for the European market.

I wonder what you'd get if you handed a 1200 and £5500 to a tuner and said "surprise me".
Some slashcuts, a cone filter and £5250 worth of studs and tassels. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I don't care how expensive or not it is, If I wanted an engine that looked similar to this but better, then my money would be going to S&S instead.
If there was more Hi-Po parts and industry around the supposedly inferior sounding big Jap V2's, then I would buy one of these instead.
I think having an engine with Yoshimura, Orient Express, and Mr Turbo parts fitted, is much cooler than Screaming Eagle written on the side! |

Call me ignorant, but what's different about the S&S engines?
It's like saying you'd rather have Kawasaki KLV 1000 rather than Suzuki DL 1000.
