Hello all

I need some help with a Hummer sports Quad, Wires missing/ destroyed. I have made the assumption its a 250 as the motors the same as the GN250. I can't find any wiring diagrams with these colour wires in it and I don't want guess.

Instead of a long story, I would appreciate any help on where the wires go.
Basically I think the CDI had more wires but I am now left with 3 See the diagram

The CDI has 6 pins
OUT black/yellow
VDD Black
IN+ Black/white
IN-
NC
GND

Magneto has 3 yellow going to the reg, But also a red and a green
Reg has the 3 yellows and a green, red, black
Coil has the Black/yellow and a Black

The quad has Electric start (although I need to wire the IGN, kill and starter as well, (should be able to sort these out))

Thanks in advance

a battery dependent cdi by the looks.....so the battery needs to be in a charged state.....charged by the engine as per normal.

if the diagram you have posted is correct then you have the info needed for the cdi.......

nc means no contact or no connection.

see a suzi wiring diagram for their wire colour protocol as different manufactures use a different colour for different things.......

there will be suzi wiring diagrams on here......

the 3 yellow wires from the genny go to the reg/rec as you know......if it was Honda protocol then green ( ground, GND ) is earth, red is battery voltage and black is battery voltage after the ign switch...but you must check, as the suzi colours mean different things.......

My theory and what I'd probably do
but as I cant get my grubby hands on it with my meter
its a best guess
the old psychic powers aint what they used to be

BTW have connected older RR sense wires to DC out/battery pos
for years, my current bike has been like it since 2007
