My only guess would be the weird indicators.....but that wouldn't stop a man of your talents.
Or is it you are attracting a lot of unwanted attention from adventure riding wannabes |

I actually like the paddle select indicators though the cancel button is almost impossible to hit first time and don't even think about hitting the horn in an emergency - you'll only warn everyone that you're turning left!
Nothing wrong with the telelever either - now I'm used to it not diving under any braking at all I quite like that too.
Not those.. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

Snubbed by a gixxer rider!
I think the BMW riders are just acting normally. Maybe there is some kind of unmentioned hierarchy, caste system, pecking order. You are like the 6 fingered, web footed cousin and you may not talk directly to an 1100RT owner - you need to find a 650GS owner to take pity on you and welcome you into the clique.
Seriously though I have found BMW owners (especially in a group) to be some of the least approachable bikers. ____________________ stinkwheel: He had an animated .gif of a cat performing fellatio. It's not socially acceptable. It can have real life adverse effects on other people. |

I've actually thought that there should be some useful space above the BMW boxer engine's once the airbox, engine cover, alternator etc is moved, for a nice big Eaton charger!
Would be worth it for the demented whine alone! |

Just a follow-up, I had to re-do the tank staring from scratch with another used because I made a silly mistake when pressure-testing the tank for leaks. I had been using 5psi the night before and welding up pin-holes but finished it the next night and somehow managed to put 30psi into the tank and blew it up like a baloon
Still it's all fitted now and holds an extra 5 litres of fuel. Here's the tank I tjust fitted alongside the one I ruined. The ruined one is 4 inches wider at the bottom after I pumped it up ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
