Hi all, long time since I've been around these ways I hope everyone is well! Me and the misses only went and made a little person, so unfortunately the dreaded car had to be purchased and I've not been on a bike since and looks like it'll be next year before I do. On a slightly more cheery note, me and a mate have been talking about building an off road buggy and he just happens to have a rolling chassis in his garage.
We've been offered (or what we believe) is a gpz 1100, it's old and in poor state but suits what we're looking for. Now here's my problem, he has no documents and the original number plate has been lost however the frame number is clearly visible. He's been quite understanding about my concern, attempted to offer comfort in a full receipt and he's selling it from his home etc however I just cannot be doing with the headache should the worst happen. He did mention it had back end damage before he bought it many moons ago, being written off I don't mind it's the latter I can't be dealing with...
Does anyone know how I can go on with this at all? Any help is massively appreciated and I thought if anyone would know it would be you wise and slightly crazy bunch. Will also get Mrs. G to do her famous caramel tart for the most helpful answer!
Cheers all and safe riding, Mr G. |
