Wheels on the R1 have been done over by the salt monster, so they'll be getting refurbed some time.

The question is, what colour do I go for?

Is not my bike, but the colour is the same.

Gold ala R1 SP is very tempting.

Feel free to photoshop some ideas. Was also considering plain black, or just OE colours. Silver? White?

You have too much black, go gold forks and gold wheels.

I'm having the same dilemma, white/blue bike, black wheels... tempted by blue

Seeing as tartan or polka dots aren't on your options list, I'd say gold or maybe black, if you don't fancy the bling effect.

R6 calipers use a gold centre.

Pretty comprehensively in favour of Gold. Is this forum full of Subaru enthusiasts?

The only colour for bike wheels is brake-dust-and-road-tar grey. It doesn't really matter what the base colour is.

Mine are white underneath the muck, takes me longer to clean one wheel than it does the bike itself!

Can only be gold TBH, to match the Yamaha tuning fork badge on the tank. Gold centre plugs for the brakes would be good as Paddy said.

Could you get a gold EXUP sticker for it maybe, and if you ever changed the rear sets or the levers, bar ends, then gold would work for those too.

BTW Subaru Owners are a very classy understated bunch aren't they?? Laughing

I'd have had my Rover's wheels gold powder coated as well, as it does go well with BRG, but all my decals are white, so I'm going white instead.
