Looked like plain overtaking, which is illegal to do so at junctions anyway. Thumbs Up

Just really bad riding.
The driver should also have double checked his mirrors but still, the motorcyclist put himself in this very dangerous position.

Lucky he was OK.

This is why I recommend IAM training.
For £149 you can take your Skills For Life course.

I would recommend it to everyone as it helps in knowing how to recognise dangers and dangerous behaviour.
People shy from IAM because they think its all about the law and speed limits and highway code geeks, but its not. I know IAM Observers, that would ride the pants off of most of us, but with much more observation and planning.

Best money I've spent. This one crash will cost his insurance at least 10x that, and his own premium will rocket too.

No it isn't, unless that chevron he crossed had a solid border (which it didn't).

I don't disagree. It's a dick thing to do. But stranger things have happened in the courts than for the driver to be cleared of all wrong doing.

I think the car saw the bike at the last minute in one of those WTF moments and tried to pull out of the turn, too.

The video description says the biker admitted liability, he was going 45mph in a 30 limit.
