So I put the bike in the garage just before Christmas and did`nt get it out again till this afternoon Shocked .

I took a trip from Ipswich to Romford via the A12 Sad .
What a hateful road that A12 is Evil or Very Mad , fugging speed cameras and reduced speed limits made the journey twice as long as it needed to be.
The journey back was just as shite.

After five months without a ride and a journey like that, my back, wrists and neck all ache now.
As for the seat on that Hyosung, it`s as hard as rock, boy does my bum hurt Laughing .
However the bike behaved Thumbs Up

Summertime biker comes out of hibernation and cries like a baby cos he is hurty bottom! Smile Smile

How do you survive without riding for 5 months?! I've been without my bike for 3 weeks, an' I'm climbing the walls already. Get it back on Sunday though Bounce!

Ache a bit myself but me bum is ok Very Happy My seat is really comfy.

Not being able to ride for 5 months and then your first ride being up and down the A12, sounds like torture to me!

I don't get it either. Why would you put your bike away in winter in England. It's not like we get bad winters.
I ride less in the winter but I still ride it.

As long as I had 2 bikes I would always still ride one in the winter. I won't ride my new bike in the winter months when I can just use my older, less expensive bike. And if I had only one nice bike I probably would spare it the winter months

Loads of work been done to pay for "stuff" around the house and having to pay for another bloody car, means bike has had to take second place Sad

I cant afford to put the Kawasaki back on the road at the moment so the Hyosung is my biking life line at just now.

Be very careful along there. The signs that say "Camera Not In Use" might be truthful, but Traffic hide on the slip roads and catch cars from behind.

True so very true! had a little scare just outside Colchester on the way home.
Where the A12 goes into three lanes for a short stretch, I opened the throttle ans started to make proper progress.
Saw blue lights in my mirrors and thought "oh crappedy crap" .
luckily they went past me and I think they were after the BMW 3 series that went off like a fast thing.
They came from nowhere or possibly the slip road we had just passed??

Five months? I've found the last week with no MOT so no bike to be a fucking nightmare.

Eurgh! Whereas I took a trip from Ipswich via some lovely teeny tiny back roads and ended up at Sutton Hoo...nice short journey...I'm building back up time from a shoulder injury on my throttle arm. Ouchy!

Look out for a black Kwak Versys 650 in/around Ipswich, it may be well be me. Mr. Green
