Hi,

I'm hoping one of you might be able to offer some advice. I use my honda cg125 daily, but today when I turned the ignition on, I was met with a short zap sound, then nothing. No lights, no ignition just dead. So I ran with it in second gear and dropped the clutch and it started. (I'm wondering if this is damaging it? Confused) The lights and indicators worked on my ride home, but they were quite irregular and flickering.

My newbie knowledge is clearly limited but I would rather attempt to diagnose and fix it myself than take it to a mechanic. I recently managed to replace a perished caliper piston seal after which I was pleased about the savings I'd made by D.I.Y'ing it.

Anyway, advice would be welcomed if this sounds familiar to anyone.

Thanks
