We found this little gem in Snowdonia somewhere between Zipwire Velocity and Titan.

I was also testing the luggage system for a European tour.

Unfortunately my mates clutch fell apart and breakdown got involved.
Sadly he had to take the long way home.

I on the other hand Very Happy
I had a fantastic winding route down through snowdonia, Titan and the underground trampoline caverns.
Thats right!

We were hoping to go this May Bank Weekend but the weather looks a bit shitty.

The campsite was just after you turn onto the A4086 after Capel Curig on the way to Llyn Gwynant

Did you go in?
My daughter found a flyer for them when we went to Llandudno in the summer & insisted on having her birthday party there.. in December!
I'm glad I went in... but I DON'T think I'll be doing it again!
All made out of surplus trawler nets knitted by French Fishermen, apparently!
I will have to get a fix on that camp-site though, looks idylic!

The lake(s) you camped at look like Llynnau Mymbyr just after Plas Y Brenin outdoor centre (about 1 minute off the A5 along the A4086). Llyn Gwynant is on the A498 but the A4086 turns into the A498 if you don't turn off off to go over Pen Y Pas towards Nant Peris/Llanberis.

Those roads used to be my local hoon roads. I miss them muchly Crying or Very sad
