I thought Japanese riders bought Made in Japan motorcycles only. Smile

It does look interesting, I understand this motorcycle as a low cost/budget commuter, right? Quite nicely done for a motorcycle like this. I might missed that in the video, but how much does one pay for such a motorcycle?

Thanks for your comment Rhyno, price of bike itself are...
CBR125R is 410,400yen(£2255).
https://www.honda.co.jp/CBR125R/
YB125SP was 230,000yen(£1263) from the shop I bought. Some shop in Nagoya sells even at 135,000yen(£742), but total payment was not that different, so I bought from the shop nearby.

Bikes like YB125SP or YBR125 are not sold as domestic model, they are sold as import model here. Some shop sells them at really cheap price but with no guarantee, some shop sells at a little bit higher price with 1 year shop guarantee. I chose latter.

Cause 125cc manual models are not popular here at all. They sell only a few models as domestic models (CBR125R and KLX125/D-tracker125 only as far as I know)
KLX125 is 348,840yen.(£1917)
https://www.kawasaki-motors.com/mc/lineup/klx125/
Suzuki and Yamaha sells scooter only in 125class.
I suppose only a few users purchase 125 manual here, hence the cost for selling them as domestic ones are not negligible for manufacturers.

But say CBR125R and KLX125 are made in Thailand. I wanted to risk myself thinking about the price difference. And I liked the relaxed riding position of it compared to CBR.

At the moment, my bike is running fine and has no rusting yet.
