I need to get my bike recovered from a very kind and helpful gentleman's place on the A483 Newtown road to a mate's in Bristol ASAP.
What are my options?

Just seen Spills n thrills thread.
Such a shame, I was really impressed with your bike in Wales. Here's to a quick recovery and the hope that the bike can be mended with gaffer tape like mine
