Try using a different application to print the photos.
Save them into another format and try printing.

Trying to print photos on an inkjet is like pissing in the wind.

For what it cost to mess about with photo paper and the amount of ink you waste printing, cleaning and calibrating the damn thing.

I find it easier and cheaper just to use a photo printing service like photobox or tesco photo, if i have got photos that are worth printing. The results are far superior to anything i've ever had out of an inkjet.

For one the odd one off you can just stick em on usd stick a pop into boots.

Don't print right to the edge of the paper, could be its slipping out.

this
scale the picture to 90% and it should be Ok, pretty common on a few brands of printer
looks like its not completing all the passes suggesting its slipping as the paper nears the edge of the rollers

I use a Canon Inkjet up to 3+ and dont get any of these issues, i normally set to borderless print and print from photoshop. Do you get any options with margins etc when printing?

If you think it could be rollers slipping why don't you tape two sheets of photo paper together on the rear edge and try print something so that you have that bit more length for the rollers to grab and keep in aligned.

If the last inch is fine then you will need a sacrificial piece of photo paper to tape on in the future.

To me it looks like the paper is being pushed away from the heads at the last bit, When some of your prints are coming out ok is it on thicker / stiffer paper?
