Ok a mate of mine asked me to fix his RS50 today. All of a sudden it has just started readlining as soon as you start it as if the throttle was fully open. I have checked all the cables and had the trottle slide out etc. The only prob is, he had someone else have a look at it before me and they reasembled it wrongly. So basically has anyone a carb diagram I can follow to make sure I don't do the same. Also anyone had this problem before (as I said choke and throttle cable all fine, jets clear, manifold looks intact).

Cheers,

Diehard

I've had this problem before, as a result of putting the throttle slide in back to front. That's the carrier thing which the throttle cable goes into the top of, and the main needle hangs from the bottom of. Make sure it goes in correctly so that the idle adjustment screw seats on the ramp, or otherwise the main jet will just be sat wide open as the needle will be too high.
