Side Panels

On one of my side panels the top screw is held on with a zip tie. it looks like I am missing something for the screw to screw into.

Is there a part that I can get so I can use the original screw, say a rubber nut or is there another fix?

Well, I have fitted the well nut, which was meant to be correct for the bike, but once its tight I can pull it back through the hole. It's like the flange isn't large enough. Is there any danger putting a washer behind it?

No, not really just watch you don't pinch it too tight. It's worth putting some copaslip on the bolt thread of wellnuts, they have a tendency to seize up like a bastard.

In fact I'd put money on that being why you're missing one, someone had to hack the little shit out because it was seized up in the first place.

I'll get some and do that. As long as it's attached I'll be happy. I am sure it won't fly off during a spirited ride as it's held by another bolt.
