You've moving from iPhone to Android? Originally you used iTunes? Shouldn't your music get sync'd back to your PC from your iPhone? Once it's there just copy it to Samsung. OR use iSyncr on PC + android phone to sync iTunes playlists etc.

You can only move music from the computer to the iPhone with iTunes and it has to be the same computer that you originally synced the phone with.

You should be able to get the music from the files when it's plugged in, the files are in random folders with random names but the ID tags still work.

Using GeekSquad
https://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/Mobiles/2012/09/how_to_move_music_from_itunes_to_android#Transfer%20music%20iTunes%20to%20Samsung

and Samsung Kies I think I have all\most of the tracks on my android phone now, but it's a right fooking mess, at least they are there and I can tidy it up with Kies I guess.

Probably could have been done easier if I had some more tech savy, anyway, reasonably happy.

Ta for the help, it encouraged me to keep trying, took fooking ages though Laughing

I tried Kies once and then deleted it. Now it is on the phone, can you not just tidy it up in explorer?

What oldpink says - plumb in phone to pc and it should come up as a removable storage device and the internal and external drives (micro sd) should be visible. It is on my Note 3.

After trying a few free apps I settled on MediaMonkey, spent time on basic learning curve and was making progress with playlists and artwork and music organiser etc, then the fookin programme took a wobbly.

Found out too late it is a known fault (almost entire library disappears of the left side of the screen), did not try any suggested fixes as all confidence in the piece of shit software was well gone.

For shitty music editor\manager see here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/

Wasted my time with other software too in trying to transfer iTunes media to Android (some transfers worked but list orders all messed up !!!) , so basically started all over ripping and creating new music library from scratch.

Now that I am getting to know Android I won't go back to Apple.

No hastles with fkn itunes, pop in cf card for more memory in device, use flash drives, even hardware add-ons are simple.

Bye Bye Apple products, the other stuff out there is more versatile.

Oh, and as said, KIES is shite, so is HeliumMusic Manager and Smart Switch.

Rant fookin over.

But ta to all for GeekZone help.
Thumbs Up

Since Samsung and iPhone are in different operating systems, so you cannot use iPhone Transfer anymore. But you can still use Mobile Transfer which can help users transfer data from phone to phone. Here are steps about how to transfer music from iPhone to Samsung.
