Humble pie time. although they take their time to pick (7 days in this instance), 3 days delivery was acceptable. More importantly, the correct item was sent, and cheaper than anywhere in the UK, even with delivery costs. Maybe not so dropship. So, er, yeah. |

Don't know what all the whining's about.
I've used the company in question a few times.
Never had any problems with them at all, the stuff I've ordered has arrived very quickly, faster than items orederd in the UK at the same time.
If you're looking for stuff for an older bike, in particular, they are very useful, espescially with the diagrams as part of the ordering process.
The diagrams are also useful for cross referencing part numbers, used on more than one model.
Recently, I've been interested in Honda parts, they have more stuff in stock than David Silver, who I've also used. A lot of spares on David Silver have to be ordered in, adding to the time you need to wait.
You should also note that the €/£ exchange rate is very favourable, just now, so CMSNL are quite competitive at the moment!
There is so much stuff on the web that is advertised for a particular model, without a part number, having ordered model specific parts I've found out to my cost that without the part number you're taking a gamble.
CMSNL, David Silver and Yambits are the suppliers I've been using for the last few years, they are all good at what they do! ____________________ "Everybody needs money, that's why they call it money!" |

Bikenut....instead of telling people to go to CMSNL, why not learn how to copy and paste the diagram for them?
I think it's just "CMS" ("Classic Motorcycle spares"??), by the way, cmsNL being their Dutch arm.
Some feedback here, the main groan seems to be supplying the wrong parts for various reasons....either superceeded or guess work...'same problem I had. For your average parts and not the rarer stuff, they're OK, I'm not convinced they invented, or have the best online fiches though........Partzilla are good for that

Considering CB500 is missing from the bike models list, and a search for "CB500 indicator" yields nothing, I'd say they were absolutely fucking shite, actually. A CB500 is not exactly a rare bike. |
