White smoke from exhaust when changing gear at high revs?!?

This bike is truly testing me now! FZR400rr

Went for a ride tonight with a friend who told me that when i'm on full throttle and change gear i get a 'plume' of white smoke every time. Never noticed this before and can't get it to repeat in idle. Warmed up fully too. Not sure if this is much to worry about or not.

Gonna get a sniff test on it on Tuesday at work to check for head gasket?

Any ideas other than burning it?

Possibly oil burning off if you've over-filled it, or knackered piston rings?
