Anyone seen this?

https://www.44teeth.com

A motorcycle "review, feature and lifestyle" site by Alastair Fagan and the Baron con Grumble.

Not sure how much of the stuff on there is recycled from other sources, but it looks quite glossy.

Personally, I thought BCF had the motorcycle "lifestyle" thing all sewn up already, ho hum.......

It's like an online version of RiDE magazine. Tedious.

Agree. But I'd rather read Ride than anything on that site. Wink

I have formed the opinion that anything he is involved in will be shit and he is a retard this is due to being shown a video of him fail at trying to pull away on a RS125 (in the style of a noob struggling at cbt) and then proceed to declare RS125's as rubbish compared to some KTM125 thing that he couldn't get to keep up with said RS.

Wow. Watched that.

Cocking-around-talking-bollocks videos are sometimes tolerable, but I doubt Mr Multi-Meedja-Whore will be green laning any more Gixxer thous.

and as for the 125 thing they missed the point by miles.
if you are 17 and your bike is 0.5 mph faster than all your mates you are the king.

Which I am sure many of us would have done had we spent all day riding a standard geared bike and having not been told of the difference on the RS.

Fair play to the guy, he has gone and done it and at least gets shots on lots of bikes and lets face it I would like to do what he does, jammy sod. Was fun for me a beginner to watch for a while, he appears everywhere you can't really avoid him on you tube. Put me off when he was trying to sell stickers haha.

Does he sound a bit like cross between David Williams and David Mitchell? He's potted the brown a few times I guess.

Is he officially out yet?

Anyway, 44t - wow. Dull beyond belief. Couldn't believe how boring it was when I had a look a few months ago. Image-wise it's "strong" - but the writing is extremely poor throughout.

He had his five minutes with the youtube thing.

He would have been trying to pull away in 2nd. Neutral then down on a race pattern bike would give you 2nd.

Agree about the 125 video. All 17 year olds care about it speed and fanny. That said the KTM might be better on the fanny front as the girls might like the vibrations from the thumper. Wink

The double uploading also annoys me as well. Baron uploaded a 125cc tit about video, then 44teeth uploaded their 125 group test, with chucks of the same footage. Although bizarrely the Baron footage has about 50k views and the 44teeth one about 9k.

I would rather have the KTM125 personally, but that's probably in part because I'm not limited to a 125 licence and I'd prefer something more grown up and less in your face, I prefer the looks and the sound, I suspect it would be more reliable and it will have more modern electronics.

I like some of von Grumbles videos but I'm not so sure about the website, I think there's more appeal for a humourous blog than a serious, boring motorcycle review site. If they can get some exclusive bikes and do silly shit with them, then that would be worth watching.

So you choose a bright orange based bike with a louder farting sound to be 'more grown up and less in your face'.

Because I'm not limited to 125 restrictions, I'd go for the RS125 of the two, because it's just touching on being an ok sports bike, as opposed to a very expensive and slow commuter Smile.

The Aprilia reminds me of that 'Crazy Frog' soundtrack that was out years ago. I'd be embarrassed to ride it.

They definitely race the RS125 and quite likely do the KTM these days.

However I said sports, not race - which is a different thing, of course Smile.

'Crazy frog' was based on the sound of a two stroke.

But, if you choose a bike mostly on the sound, and you like the sound of a tractor; sure the KTM is a good choice Smile.

Have to give him some credit for actually trying to make something meaningful from his love of bikes though. Even if he just keeps getting nice bikes to ride to events for free I'd be happy.

Amazing how quickly people in the UK are to knock someone trying to do something they are too lazy to try themselves.....

First thought
who the hell are Alastair Fagan and the Baron con Grumble.?
and should I care?
Had a quick look, not interested, just glossy, boring self congratulary wankershite imo.
Nothing new there.
