Stolen from Old Castle Street - E1 yesterday between the hours of 9am-3pm

M111NHL - GSXR 600 K6 - Blue and black

Not much hope in finding it but you never know!

As this question seems to be being ignored I'm going to ask again, was it locked?
This is relevant as for 2/3rds of that bike bay there is a locking bar that no one seems to bother to use.

Its starting to annoy me that various groups and individuals campaigned to get these locking bars fitted on bike bays all over the capital and then people don't use them and complain most vociferously when their bikes are stolen. Yes people shouldn't steal others property but also people should take reasonable care so their property isn't stolen.

There's always hope of a recovery - mine was recently taken from outside my house & found by the plod in a hedge about half a mile away.

Oxford Boss Disc Lock only I'm afraid

I have never parked there before and only went there due to my usual place on St.Mary Axe being full.

My usual place doesnt have anything to chain it to. Hence why I don't carry a chain.

Did the disclock have piezo alarm? If not maybe next time a Xena one would be a better buy. They certainly
seem to have a better reputation than Oxford, and maybe the noise drawing attention may have at
least provided a couple of witnesses.They are pretty shrill, and trigger as soon as the bike is moved or is tampered with.
Hope you get it back undamaged but suspect its on its way to Poland for a new identity.

I work literally minutes from those bays but would never leave my bike there, even with a chain. Have heard too many stories of stolen or damaged bikes there. My colleague got his mirrors stolen from his XJ6 and another colleague had a great big scratch left of this side of his burgman.

hence why some call me overkill but if i cant lock my bike to an immovable object then i don't park there and take public transport.

Or if there's another bike with a chain there, loop your chain through theirs (chain, not bike!).

My bike has been found!!!!

Currently in Charlton depot. Need to figure out a way to get it out

They reckon just the steering lock and barrel is broken. Was being ridden on fake plates!

Got to bloody pay a storage charge tho. Rip offs
