Oil signs on cylinder[pics] and few other problems with my b

Hi guys, i had many problems with my bike and i still have some.
I had problems with idling [not stable was jumping like 1500-3000 up and down up and down and hard to start]
I cleaned the carbs 2 days before put it back as it was and it starts good now idle is stable but the one problem is still there.
When i pull the throttle on idle [neutral/clutch pressed all the way ] to about 4000+ rpm and pull it back it goes down to like 1000 rpm and stalls .
Another problem i spotted was that sometimes it stalls, at first i though its side stand switch but i checked and its not .
One it stalled when i was going 60mph and it was about 9000 rpm and it just stalled and had to just click start once to get it back
Second it stalled [on a f junction] wanted to move quickly reved it to about 6000 and went and it stalled and wont turn on ! what ever i did it didnt turned on had to push it to side
Third i was pulling out and i heard like a crack noise and it stalled and again turned on but when i put in gear it stalled any gear first or second it stalled only on neutral it turned on .


Another problem i spotted today was oil signs on cylinder i was tightening the screws for the exhaust and saw on front cylinder spot of oil and screws were also oily i have no idea what it can be here are pictures .
In addition i add that the bike has 29000 miles and its 2009 hyosung gt 125 comet

If that was a 2 stroke, I'd say it looks very much like a leaky exhaust header.

It may well be a leaky exhaust header, but I wouldn't expect a 4t to be that oily.

Its a 4t, its hyosung gt 125 comet so they are 4t

Try the ciggy test anyway, watch the smoke around the exhaust manifold and see if it's getting blown anyway in particular.

The front cyclinder is angled down by the looks of it, so it could be leaking elsewhere and running.

Ciggy test worth a try though.

I will do that tomorrow cuz its dark now i checked spark plugs and tehre is tiny bit of oil on it

It also looks like if your left fork leaked.

Check the oil level, just to be sure. If you are not missing any engine oil, the rest of your problems was just a coincidence.

You took the carbs apart = you are the reason of the starting/running problems. Find the manual and set the carbs back to the factory settings.

EDIT: when you say, ''it got fixed'', you mean it stopped leaking or someone actually fixed it? If it stopped leaking and looking at the engine, I'd say you ran out of the fork oil, in the left one.

but [when pulling throttle and leaving so it went to over 5000 and i stopped pull it back/release throttle it went back to 1500 dropped to 1000 and stall ] this problem was before i cleaned carbs same with the problem of stalling randomly, the only thing that i can see is fixed after me cleaning the carbs is that the RPM is not jumping anymore when idling from 1500 to even 3000 not it stays the same on 1500 maybe sometimes jumps to 1600 but its better than before but the 2 other problems are still there and idk how whats wrong

Is it really worth putting time and money into it? I very much doubt that this will be the last time you need to sort it.

That said, if it's just cutting out while riding without any warning then I'd assume that's electrical rather than fuelling.

How did you check the side-stand switch? It could be good 99% of the time, and still give those problems. I'd replace or bin it - the cost of the bike cutting out in the middle of a cheeky dart onto a roundabout could be much higher.

i tighten the stand to frame and ride it and it happened on that when i pulled out and also i checked i put it to gear and put side stand slowly and it cuts out when the stand it nearly fully open [on ground] and im sure riding even on big bumps wont throw this stand all the way to ground, so its probably something with electric [i recently changed the reg rec the metal thing because my voltage on voltmeter was showing 19v and even sometimes 23v but now its stable stays all the time 13.6v

Could just be loose or corroded wiring in or on the way to the switch. It's a common enough issue. I'd bin or bypass it to rule it out.

You'll never make back a penny of what you're spending on it, so really do think about whether it's worth it.

yeah i bought this bike for 500£ [2 bikes 1 comet working and second donor bike just frame,not working engine,wheels,rims,basically all bike forks and all but without working engine so i took it apart [also rusty sold it for parts and left the parts might be usefull] i spend about 800£ into this bike so already like 1300£ and i could spend more and more to make it perfect it has 19000 miles soon something else will break piston rings or gear box or anything you can think of so iam selling it for 1400-1550£ see if someone buys it and they i will buy same hyosung gt 125r but with less miles and better condition

But for 1500 you get a Varadero which is Jap and proven. Currently you are riding some rusty breaking dog eating contraption.

The one i bought it is crapy cuz no one took care of it before but i believe hyosung bikes are good they are not chinese they are korean, they look as a bigger bike 600cc and sounds like bigger bike
Hyosung is a brother of Suzuki Hyosung makes engines for Suzuki and Hyosung bikes are on the design of Suzuki example gt 125 comet and gs 500

I spend around 1200 on it its working but not perfect it has about 19000 miles now and i think thats quite a lot for a motorcycle
I wanna 125cc [just till end of this year cuz i will do A2 license at the end of this year] and i want 125cc that looks nice and sounds nice and the only option i can find is Hyosung gt 125,
Honda cbr is tiny its like pizza delivery bike and slow, Yamaha is 'alright' looks nice sounds okay but the price ? so expensive Aprilia rs125 good bike very quick 'needs maintance i could do that but the parts are kinda expensive and sounds even worst than a scooter so idk the only bike that i like is hyosung 125

CBR whilst being skinny tyre and small is going to work and is faster than Hyosung.
RS... I wouldn't buy one if you can't keep a GT running.

Just sell it now, buy a working bike and leave it at that. Money pit.
