Yet another problem I'm having with my 1984 Honda cd125 benly is poor acceleration.
The bike starts and runs fine, however, when pulling away in 1st gear the bike pulls ok but not quite as well as other 125 4 strokes I've ridden recently.
The problem really gets bad when I change up in to 2nd gear, the revs immediately die and the bike won't pull to the point of stalling.
I hope the problem is with fuel starvation but I'm not certain.
The bike has a brand new clean air filter and fresh petrol and spark plugs.
I have also noticed that only one exhaust smokes when ridden.

Check the exhaust pipe temperatures. If only one is getting hot then it's a good sign that you're running on one cylinder. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
