Hello together,

just came back on Monday from our 6 day Tour to the Region of Piemont. I will upload in this three some pictures of this trip.

Day 1 - Switzerland to Aosta Valley (250 miles)

We started our trip to Piemont on a wet and windy Wednesday morning. Due to the long distance for some driver of our group (7 motos) we made an overnight stop in the surrounding of Aosta in the north-westernmost part of Italy.
It was a small B&B a little bit outside of the city in the typical architectural style of the landscape with only 6 rooms all wodden holded:

Day 2 - Aosta Valley to Montelupo Albese/Langhe-Piemont (200 miles)

We driven out of the Valley of Aosta and crossed the lowlands of the upper Po river and made a short stop in Asti, the well known city of the sparkling wine ASTI. Wanted to visit the cathedral, but we had to wait about one hour and this was too long for some of our group Sad:

So we arrived in the Langhe a pittoresque region of Hills and Valleys. It looked a little bit like the region of Tuscany!

Our hotel for the next three days was a small agriturismo (fruitgrowing) with a excellent view over a valley to the historical city of Serralunga d'Alba:

More will follow soonest.

Day #3 - Daytrip to the Ligurian Coast (200 miles)

Our first daytrip was to the Coastline between Savona (known as ferry port for Sardinia or Corsica) and Imperia. On the way we crossed some small hills and valleys in Piemont. It was a intensive up and down with a lot of curves and viewpoints:

Short before Lunch-Time we arrived at Spotorno, a small village with a bride infrastructure for Beach Holidays. Due to the early time in the year not so many tourists where there and so we spent some minutes at the beach for photoshootings Mr. Green

The coastal road from Savona to Imperia (SS1) is also called Via Aurelia (from a old romanian long distance path) and is traced out on the coasthills too:

On the way back after crossing the Colle de la Nava (935m) we had a picture stop in the hills of the Langhe again and the beautiful view over the lowland to the Italian/French Alpes:
