I doubt the indicators will support them - they'd wobble. Maybe the mirror stems? Depends on how this would align the lights.

Wiring - ghetto: splice into the main beam wire behind the headlight with a Scotchlok. Properly: use a relay that takes main power from the battery (with an inline fuse) and a switching signal from the main beam circuit.

I doubt you'll be able to ride fast enough in the twisty lanes to outrun your headlight! Besides, those lanes are very safe at night as you'll be able to see the light from others' approaching headlights at corners, illuminating the high Cornish stone 'hedges'.
Daytime is when they're most dangerous - tourists tearing along or an approaching tractor in 't middle of the lane or ahead of you leaving a trail of mud.

The ones i use ( got them from Farklemyride IIRC) are 900lumen / 12W each and are bright enough to render dipped beam all but redundant and that's with a new headlight reflector / lens and a better dipped/main lamp.

Can't find them on ebay now but it came as a kit - only thing i added was a relay and a switch so i could turn them on and off independently of the main lights.

Based on how bright these are, i don't think i'd want to subject other road users to their 2 brighter products.

Lights aren't that great on my Fazer I have a big contract on in Cornwall in a couple of weeks and will be riding down there to work for a week I don't want to end up in a ditch on some tight unlit Cornish country lane because I could not see.

Are these any good?

I am thinking of mounting them off indicators unless anyone has any better suggestions of where to mount them on a box eye Fazer.

Also how to wire them so they come on with full beam?

2x125 watts ?
that's 250 watts and probably more then your stator will pump out on a good day.
The 2x 12W ones UncleBfester has will do you and not put a strain on the charging system

Yes, I got this... my point still stands.

I thought this was about being able to see, not improving how it looks in high street shop window reflections? Thinking

Improved safety and improved looks are often mutually incompatible.

Implying mounting them on the indicator stems isn't going to improve visibility?

No, but I predict that the weight of those lamps will overcome the rigidity of the indicator stem and mount and the whole lot will wobble. At best this will give you a wobbly but bright view of the road ahead. It would annoy the nuts off of me. At worst it could fatigue the stems into failure. Or it might be fine.

Have you done the fazer headlight mod? It's on the Fazer owners forum, I think it's bad form to link directly to another forum from here but you'll find it easy enough if you Google it.

Big danger at night is vampires. Replace all bulbs with UV 'black light' bulbs. Advice applies only to BodyGuard.

Well ... you could either weld them on .......

Or you could look at wiring in some kind of switch or switch with a relay from a switched live so they only work when the lights come on .... or you could have them wired via a relay to just come on every time the lights come on.

Have you got any wiring experience at all?

You're going to need a wiring diagram.

You're then going to need to learn how to wire in a 4 pin relay and connect your lights to it.

Once you find the positive wire that feeds the main beam(s) and splice a wire off that to feed the relay - that will then turn on the spotlights when the main beam comes on.

If you have zero clue about this stuff, find someone willing to do it for you / show you as they do it.

Failing that .... off to google you go!

If the bike is a 12V system - then yes, you need a 4 pin relay.

You should also fit an inline fuse of the correct rating between the battery and the relay .... whatever is the correct rating for the current draw of the spotlights.

Wiring example.

https://www.vstrom.info/vsri-gallery/gallery/d/88309-1/Driving+Lights+High.jpg

I'd start with the above - the bits specific to your bike you'll need to work out. Google it - you won't be the first. That high beam wire in yellow is just the example - yours could be a different colour.

At risk spoiling the fun ..... check, check and check your wiring before you make it live / apply power.
