lexmoto first gear and neutral fault

Hi All,

Hope someone can help me please. I have got a Lexmoto lsm 125 (2012) and i'm struggling to get the bike into first gear, it will kick down into first 2 times out of 10, even if i engage the clutch in second gear it still wont go into first so i have no neutral either.

Any ideas what it could be causing this would be great and very helpful.

What oil did you use? Is there any oil in the engine/gearbox?

Yup, oil first, then check:

1) Your clutch cable tension. There should be just a tiny bit of slack at the lever. Look at the clutch actuator arm on the engine end, pull the lever at the bars, you should see the slack come out of the actuator and it start to move almost immediately.

2) That your gear shift lever is securely clamped on to the selector shaft.
