Ive the chance a Varadero 125 06 in good condition 11,000 miles, guy is asking just shy of £2000.
Whats a fair price for it, trying to get one of these near me is murder and im afraid I run like a fool and pay over the odds.

between 2000 and 3000 is what i have seen them at.
you need to have a look at others see what the milage is like and ask him why he is selling it.

Mmm, there's not that many up here.

Nationally, you can check on eBay.

Varadero 125 in Motorcycles and Scooters

Advanced

Sold listings

Filter by year, e.g. 2007, 2006, 2005

All went for less than that, but had higher mileage (apart from a project bike painted with Dulux and a roller).

I wouldn't pay that for one, but how much is it worth to you?

Given that you're 45 and therefore nearly dead, you really should consider going round the local training schools again to see if you can get any cancellation lessons and test slots. £2000 will buy you a lot more bike than a Varadero 125.

You don't say what year - but the late 2007 onwards models with Fuel Injection are a much better buy than the older Carburettor models, and will hold their value for longer.

If you look after the bike for 12 months, you will almost certainly get back most of what you paid for it. Parts are cheap and DIY servicing is simple - and it's not made from Chinese monkey-metal.

Removing the restrictor bung from the airbox and a DIY air filter swap, makes them more rideable Smile

Any accessories thrown-in? A Centre-Stand, Top Box and Belly Pan are good to have.

And can only buy bikes that are for sale. Nearest eBay example is over 100 miles away from OP and asking (I jest you not) £3500.

Was this one pursued?

'Rogerborg' has posted 3 times in a thread about Varaderos and has not said 'Verydearo' once.

Who are you? And what have you done with The Borg??

The prices being listed rather speak for themselves; I'm just standing downstage carrying a spear.
