Very, very cheap compared to road-track racing.
For instance, the first one I did was about 10 miles away.
Total spend on fuel maybe £8. Entry fees including acu day licence - £45.
Even better value when you consider that was for 4 hours of 'race time' AND the marshals would give you a hand if you were having trouble with a section .
Tyres should last a good number of events.
You could also consider supermoto pit bikes, minimotos and so on - costs are a bit higer and it's a lot harder to find places to ride.
I'd be doing lots of enduros if my wrists weren't knackered - they are great fun generally, with a good variation of terrain and opportunity to play a bit.
A bit more fitness needed than for thundersport, however. |
