I'm in the process of getting an NSR125 ready to sell. It's been stood for a bit so I've had the carb apart to clean all the passageways and jets.
There are two hoses that come off the side of the carb body (the ones I've put the white cable tie around), which don't currently connect to anything. They don't seem like overflows and blowing air through one of the smaller jets blew fuel out of one.
Anyone know what they should connect to?

I had the float chamber off and all the jets out. These pipes connect to the upper carb block.
After putting it back together with cleaned carb and fresh petrol, it seems to run OK with these left as breathers. They just looked like power jet hoses on my TZR's and TDR carbs, which need connecting.
Just seems odd to have breathers pointing upwards. Maybe i'm both thinking Honda engineering? It's certainly less friendly to work on than my Yams. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Hi,
nothing that fancy on this carb, seen lots with the hoses pulled off.
I guess, as long as the wee nipples ( ) arnt blocked everything should be ok.
I always look at the nipples & if the are grey/alloy they are usually breathers.
brass & they are usually fuel or oil hoses
cheers,
