not exactly an instructor but...
Hopefully this week i'm going to have myself a spare bike! a cg125, now once ive got it all road legal and running and nice and shiney i was thinking of helping my mate out by giveing him the odd rideing lesson... i'd probably get the bike somewhere near him and show him the basic CBT stuff, nothing extravagant...
In my younger more foolish days i had a go on friends bikes arround a car park, no holiganisms just rideing arround in circles... no insureance no provisional or anything, but causeing no trouble of any kind...
Now i'm not risking the plod comeing over for a word and haveing problems.. i was wondering what the legal side of this would be, as i understand it on private land unaccessable to the public theres no problem... but if its private... then thats tresspassing
Any ideas? dont suggest a cbt becuase if he had the money provisional e.t.c. he'd be doing that! anyone in derby with their own private car park? ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

You can ride on private land owned by you, or with permission only. If he is caught on public areas he'll get done for driving without a licence/insurance etc.. and you'll probably end up in trouble for instructing etc or something or other..
If you have private land access, with permission, then you'll be fine as long as you don't go onto any public areas with him...
If you use private land without permission, you're in big trouble with trespassing and insurance etc.. also make sure you don't get paid in any way for these lessons as you can be done for illegal instruction as you're not qualified..
Lots to look out for here so be careful! ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

Theres a private road sort of delivery area at the back of my work, i could ask the land lord nicely and hope...
As far as i'm aware your not insured on private land anyway (i.e. car parks)
Wouldn't be chargeing (that would be a bit harsh!) pretty much just want to give him idea of what he'd be letting himself in for ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

Just go to an industril estate on a Sunday (or 7 onwards in the summer and week-day) and have a mess around. I learnt to ride round the back of Belmarsh prison ____________________ Pictorgraphicalfantastical |
