At least you did not blatantly plug your bike tour company in your first post.

Will we hear more from you about biking in Thailand in general ?

Thailand and\or Malaysia for my next far east trip methinks.

Take a look to my road map :
- first I went to Sai Yok National Park
- then Khao Laem National park
- and along the beautiful lake Sinakharin
- Phu Toei National park

This aera of West Thailand is splendid, lots of lakes, waterfalls, flourishing natura, montain and curvy roads Very Happy

Finaly I end up in Ayutthaya, which is the former capital of Thailand; another amazing place .

Excellent part of the world for bike touring.
I'm planning to get there later this year (may end up as next year instead).

I'm surprised, I thought it was probably the main one although Horizons Unlimited is bigger, it's global. There are quite a few forums (GT rider, ADV etc etc) and loads and loads of tour organisers. I thought the competition would have effected the prices by now.

If I get there this year then It won't be on an organised tour.
It's so easy to do solo and there's loads of info about options for Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam as well. Even Burma if you can afford the obligatory guide.
