Another what big bike

My CG has been sold and i have £1200 for a big bike, it needs to replace the CG so needs to be comfy , reliable and easy to service and maintain, i have seen this, any opinions please.

I'm not up on prices, might be a little steep but I'm sure someone will come along with more info on that.

Also says max top speed of 95. That is low, especially if reading off the speedo. My wife had one and that could exceed 110 on the sat nav. Maybe the sprockets have been changed.

I would look at this one if it goes for under £900 or so.

I'd ask if the seller has the old MOTs the back the mileage up. It looks like someone's spent a bit of money tarting it up to me, hence the highish price. Photos are no substitute for a viewing in the flesh, sometimes they make the bike look better.....sometimes worse.
Plenty other good buys out there, whatever you decide, don't rush in

How about one of Tefs favourites...a CB Seven Fifty, not a million miles from the Divvy and you'd get a mint one for £1200.

With £1200, the type and selection of bikes is limited, as is sports bike availability.

The good news is that you said it needs to be comfy, reliable, cheap and easy to look after. And the better news is that after a CG125 anything will do or be good enough really.

There are also plenty of middleweight non exciting bikes that are very available in your budget and would make an excellent machine for your requirements.

CB500S, XJ600N, Bandit S, or ZR7 etc would all be really cheap and satisfy your comfy yet simple and cheap requirements.

I can't see past Fazers and Hornets for the first big bike.

Bandits and Divvys just look a bit crappy although I've never actually ridden either.

Stepping up from a 125, looking for easy machine and on a tight budget, look for the bikes dismissed by the masses as dull and boring. You will get yourself one in much better condition for the money you would have paid for a fun bike that had its life trashed out of it thirty times over by said masses.
