Anyone recommend a bluetooth speaker so I can listen to my music in the kitchen? Due to the location I'd like it relatively compact.

Also don't want it too expensive so it doesn't matter if it gets hit/splattered with food.

Thanks! Smile

Just got my daughter a JBL Clip. It's not at all bad for a very small thing, surprising amount of bass and can really fill a room, and only 20 quid from PC World/Currys.

Load up some of your favourite sweary tracks, take a 3.5mm adaptor lead, and go down PCW and audition a few Smile

Depends on your definition of too expensive but I have one of these at the moment in our kitchen: clicky.

I also have one of these: clicky.

I'd rate the first one a good 9/10, plenty loud enough for use in the garden at a roudy BBQ a couple of weeks back, and I tend to drag it out with me when I head to my mates garage to work on his old Rover, it's held up to all of the knocks and bangs without a grumble. Looses a point for it's lack of punch to bass on dance type music.

The second one is a solid 7/10, it still works more or less perfectly but I need to prop it up to use it as the pop out mechanism has given up, when it closes it switches off which is frustrating. In terms of sound quality it's very close to the first system, if the pop out bit hadn't given up I'd still be using it regularly.

iLuv Mobiout (https://www.amazon.co.uk/iLuv-MobiOut-Rechargeable-Resistant-Bluetooth/dp/B00CHLDIK4)

This is a decent speaker at £50 - we've accumulated a few over the years but at £15 delivered it's a bargain - I've just ordered another.

Creative D80 here.

Does the job fine, good sound for the money.

Mine was £25 reduced in Tescos about a year ago. Thumbs Up
