Riding other bikes insurance question

Hypothetical situation, mate borrows my fully comp insured bike and rides it on his any other bike third party only bit of his insurance. Has an at fault collision. Now I would assume that his third party bit would pay for the damage to the third party, and that my insurance would pay for the damage to my bike.
Is this correct?
It hasn't happened, just curious. Not even considering the moral aspect of it.

Hang on, he'd be covered if the bike fell over.

He'd be covered if an untraced driver mashed it up.

He'd be covered if an uninsured driver mashed it up.

He'd be covered if a block of frozen excrement fell out of an aircraft and wrecked it.

What's special about it being damaged when it's being ridden by someone else? OP's insurers would be free to pursue his mate to recover their costs, right?
