Just spent the last 2 weekends sorting this out for myself and my partner .......
https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/218208
Something like that i'd hazard a guess - Dainese seem to work well if you are short of leg / height.
I would be finding a shop that stocks a few of the 'brands' and going through the hot sweaty frustration of trying loads on.
What seems to be the issue is that not everyone is the right length leg from hip to knee or knee to ankle and some stuff fits and some stuff blatantly doesn't even though it's the same 'size' on the label.
Failing that ... lube yourself up and take a trip over to Hideout leathers
https://www.dainese.com/media/wysiwyg/sizing_chart.pdf
Try and decipher that, not all Manufacturers show this info but all of the ones i've emailed have provided it when asked. ____________________ 2017 Z1000SX

My wife went to J&S, was a long afternoon! left with nothing. Nothing fitted quite right for her. Ended up getting a set of textiles that she can wear over her clothes online.
She had visions of cat women, reality with armour is more like incredible hulk, she was none impressed
But, she tried on my Spada Predator leathers and they fitted nice. She is size 10 (meh she's a bloody 12 I tell ya), 5ft 7. Smallest mens 40" fits. She has got average size fun bags.
Comes c/w camel toe. Maybe cut short your bike riding though.
Got Black predators for £299, not bad for 1 piece.
Sorry not the best pic.

Those look nice. Were you able to fit jeans on underneath them, or would she order a size up for that? |

wife has those (or very similar Frank Thomas) spent a long long time in J&S about two months ago looking for leather jeans and jacket for her.
Sizing seemed a bit random, but I hear that's true for women's clothing in general. So although she's normally a uk 14 was affronted at having to get size 18 jeans. she certainty couldn't get jeans on underneath. ____________________ R1250RS

No, no jeans underneath and to be honest, the armour fits nicely where its supposed to, if you started going up sizes, I think the armour may not sit where its supposed to.
Any reason she wants to put jeans underneath?
To be honest, I doubt you'll find leather "overpants" as such.
I wouldn't call theses racing leathers, more ladies bootcut leather jeans with armour.
Mudshark is absolutely right where the sizing is concerned too, my top half is (ahem) larger than my bottom half and when I tried an Alpinestars jacket on, the only size I could zip up, was an 18!!!
I am not a size 18 in "normal" clothes! ____________________ Proud owner of an R6 + ZXR400

Its probably one of the only clothing sectors, in which women have a limited choice in comparison to men, but unfortunately, it really is crap.
I would say shes probably gonna have to A)Just stay in the leather jeans when you go wandering or B)Do as you said and wriggle in and out of them.
I do find these quite comfy to wander around in, oh and just a thought, I have had leggings on under them, mainly when its been cold but leggings are comfy underneath and don't require extra sizes. ____________________ Proud owner of an R6 + ZXR400

What about Kevlar Jeans? Are they not an option?
More often than not, thats what i wear, fairly happy to wear around town etc...
If you get some from Hood Jeans https://www.hoodjeans.co.uk/ they're more than happy to change the leg length to suit ____________________ A2 Passed 18/6/10 |
