Wouldn't be too surprising if you got more than three points for that.

Might be as well to get banned as well as revoked and take a little break to think about his riding.

6 points not from speeding, should be a good backstory. Drooling

54 in a 30 is at least 4 points and a massive fine, i reckon more likely 6 points and a months ban.
Edit: Looking on pepipoo, its 6 points, £200-£400 fine possibly up to £1000 and a 7-56 day ban, your fooked mate. Thumbs Up

Did a speed awareness course a few months back. They are offered to what are known as 'error makers'. People who are only a few MPH over the speed limit, and already hold a clean license.

54mph in a 30 is up there with a potential ban. I'd take that bad-boy to court, and demand the calibration certificate for that camera on that specific date. Hope they can't produce the thing.

About as likely as getting your left nipple blown off by a lightning bolt on a perfect summers day, then having your right nipple shot off by a stray bullet just minutes later.

Almost zero.

You can put in a FOI request to the popo.
They will have it.

I tried everything to not get the points, ended up costing me an extra 300 quid in court costs + fines.

As a motorcyclist you own one of the fastest accelerating vehicles on the road by default. Of course you speed. We all speed.

We just all know when and where to do it so we don't get caught. We've all done triple digits in a 30 zone past a school at some point. But it was quiet and no kittens were killed.

All school zones are 20mph (even on a road where the speed limit before and after is 30mp or above)?

Anyhow, 35 in a 30, mental fast, race bike init, no coppers m8 Rolling Eyes Laughing

I sense that OP hasn't replied because internet has been turned off and a whole bunch of pocket money towards bus fairs will be needed.

Most of them here are 30 zones with the "20 when the lights flash" signs. I meant when the schools weren't in though. If the school kids were in or out playing I'd maybe keep it down to like 80.

We can all say what we want but most of us with sportier bikes have went out riding purely to ride quick at some point.

Kittens, etc.

I'll clarify that while I appeared to say the same thing, I was meaning more that he needs to learn where the danger zones are. And by danger I mean roads that are safer than the posted speed. Deserted urban dual carriageways or those infuriating "can't be too careful" rural 30 zones running 5 miles between Bumpkinham and Turnipface villages.

Essentially anywhere that you find yourself thinking "what idiot set this speed limit?" is where the po-po with a pew-pew likes to lurk.
