Hi, I'm thinking of buying a Gilera 125 KK, just wondering if these bikes are Relaible?

Also what are the bikes like?

Thanks

It's a 125 2 stroke. You need to define what you mean by reliable. You need to rebuilt them quite often (at least every year) or they will properly break. The more you ride them the quicker you need to rebuild them.

These bikes are pretty rare, i'd be concerned about the availability of parts.

What are the like? No idea, never ridden one.

If maintenance is something you do not wish to do then you should look at an equivalent 4 stroke.

Hi

Biggest problem will be that a KK125 will be over 25 years old, and they were never imported to the UK. Pretty rare over here. Bob Wright probably can get you some or most spares.

As a learner bike it would be a lousy idea. A learner is very likely to drop it (even just getting it out of the garage), and getting some easily broken spares might well take a while.

Rebuilds will depend on how much you use it.

All the best

K

Nice rolling chassis if in good condition, engine is rubbish, pay no more than 100 quid if in good condition.
