Hi guys anyone help me out on a good standard price tyre that's not gonna be destroyed in 3000 miles or are they all about that? I'm looking at the maxxis supermaxx diamonds what's the overall feel on these please thanks. Smile

I've got the Maxxis on my Buell, and they are good.

However, if you don't tell us the bike or the tyre size we can't make any recommendations.

only recent experience is Conti Road Attack 2
they are better than me

and would have lasted longer than 3500 if they hadn't got screws in, from using the shitty debris strewn entrance to the work car park, I now use the 'no entry' exit to get in

but maybe pricey at £185 upwards a pair?

Their reviews are poor on the basis that they say they will get them to you between 48-72 hours. If you do order from these give it a week.

I ordered late on a friday night and got them by Thursday.

They seem to come from France/Germany and mine were manufactured within two months so arent old new stock either.

Picked up Michelin PR4 for £185 delivered. so saved around £40

Pirelli Diablo Strada's - £124 delivered for sets (180/55 & 120/70, that is) on ebay.

Done about 3500-4000 miles on my current ones and they're not showing any signs of wear really yet.

Often cheaper than the others, and guarantee the tyres are under 3 yeas old. I've used them a few times now and has all been good.

Standard 120&180 pair of PR3s are about £160 there. Fully trackable delivery service.

EDIT - the Diablo Stradas Matt mentioned are a really good buy Thumbs Up
