Lots going on today, it seems.

In lieu of the forthcoming 24/7 onslaught of 'news' from the Beeb and Sky etc - I thought I'd just like to start by suggesting that the recent terrorist attacks remind me greatly of Operation Gladio, and the tactics they used to instill a sense of fear in the populace for political gain.

Anyway, further reading provided:

https://wikispooks.com/wiki/Operation_Gladio

Quote:
During his trial, Vincenzo Vinciguerra revealed that, in addition to discrediting left wing political groups, there had been a second, even darker aim behind the bombings, namely to inculcate a climate of fear among the general populace. This was known as the ‘strategy of tension’ which was intended to generate a pervasive sense of fear which would encourage the population to appeal to the state for protection.

** HISTORICAL FOOTNOTE: Aluminum was originally named "alumium" by Sir Humphry Davy, who later changed it to "aluminum" (perhaps in an attempt to make it more Latinized since alumen is Latin for alum, the aluminum compound that the name is derived from). The British (and allied English speakers) shortly thereafter changed the name once more, this time to "aluminium" so that it would again match the pattern of most other elements (helium, sodium, etc.), while the North Americans eventually decided to keep the second, slightly more traditional name. I predict that North Americans will adopt the more regular "-ium" spelling by the year 2050, prompting the British to start calling it "alumininium". At that point debate can begin on changing "platinum" to "platinium"

It's probably advisable not to travel to Muslim countries at the moment.

I'd rather be in Istanbul than Bradford. Less inbreeding for one thing.

"About 80 mosques accused of "spreading venom" will close within a week"

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-33297245

Approx 15% of GDP and 15% of employment in Tunisia comes from the tourism industry.

The security clamp down is money driven, no fuks are given when it comes to protection of infidel tourists.

"It was the second major attack on tourists in Tunisia since March, when militants killed 22 people, mainly foreigners, at Bardo museum in Tunis." source =same link as above

They did not close down venomous mosques after that event.

I cannot understand infidel tourists who want to pay for a holiday in patently dangerous Tunisia.

Cheap deals and Poundland sun-lotion blanks out all sensible reasoning for some.

We have to stop this madness!

Therefore I advocate the immediate conscription of other peoples' children to be sent to stop the fighting

Agreed, select a highly motivated task force for the job, send in the EDL so they can walk the talk, instead of feeling like ignored frustrated wankers Smile
