bike selling tips

Hey guys, im looking at selling my Yamaha XJ600S, its a 98 model. I want something with a little more poke. But what I want to know is what should I expect to get for it, general condition is a dent in the tank a few scratches to the fairing/exhaust and brake lever a little rust has just appeared on the exhaust. Runs fine with no issues and has 29k on it. But does have that annoying typical divvy rattle

Be realistic with your price.

That's realistic. You can try and hold out for more, but it'll come down to whether there are more folk trying to buy similar bikes nearby than to sell them.

Where a real minter is being sold with support documentary evidence and detailed photographs, I don't think it does any harm.

On the other hand "Genuine Reason For Sale" sucks.

Whatever the reason for sale it always means "Want Shot Of".

It's not that risky as you can just Jew out ignore the winning bidder and re-list with a "TEIM WAISTARS!!!" rant. Scummy trick, but they don't lose anything from it.
