How best to secure a bike when living in flats?

So circumstances mean I have to move out my current house, and i'm looking at a flat in London tomorrow, to share with two friends. Looking at it on streetview though, ( https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.471153,-0.226791,3a,75y,196.19h,92.27t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sO_WtSem0HcXclCIz1drY2A!2e0!7i13312!8i6656) it looks like there's absolutely nothing to actually secure a bike to. No garage, only onstreet parking, not even any railings really and all the lampposts are in car parking spaces. My flat would be on the second floor too so parking in the ground floor walkway isn't an option.

I'm generally of the mindset that I need to park my bike assuming someone will try and steal it, but i'm struggling to see anything here. Even with an Almax and Squire padlock, without anything to secure it to it's still going to be a doddle to just lift it into a van and drive away.

What do you reckon my best options are for securing my bike here? (aside from finding somewhere else, which is also potentially on the cards).

Create something to lock securely to.

As mentioned could use another bike, or something more ghetto such as a Bin full of cement next to your bike parking space to chain it to (ground anchor in it) or something.

If I had to live there? (would rather be on the isle of Mull instead though), then I would just dig a big hole in the grass verge in front of your flat window, and drop in a concrete in ground anchor. You could leave the concrete about 2-3" from the surface, and then dig out a bit of turf to lay around the actual anchor point.

Worst case scenario, is someone complains and the council/letting agency/landlord tell you to move your bike elsewhere.

TBH it's a pretty shit set up if you can get your bike out of side of passer's by, or into a building or secure area like a plant room etc.

Park bike on pavement and chain to the lamp post. Or park bike on grass by disabled spots and chain to railings leading to building. Or will that get you parking tickets in that there London?

Personally, I'd look for somewhere else to move to. Not very helpful, I know.

See if you can find a garage space to rent or preferably, try and find somewhere else to live.

Chain it to a lamp post or something where you can see it out of your window (this is what I do) and where it would be easy for you to get to if you had to get to it in the event something happens.

Set it up in a way where if the thief has to use any kind of force to get to it, they'll have to trip the alarm in order to do so. Oh ye, get an alarm . Get a cover, and any other visual deterrents such as disc locks.

Go the whole way with your security if you live in flats. I wouldn't have my bike parked outside my block without the full security kit that I got on it so far.

The Scorpio SR-i900 alarm is fantastic especially if you might not hear it from your house. It comes with a key fob that also makes noise if you're within 800m of the bike.

Doing another recce, found this space nearby, thinking I could back it in here and lock to the railings + alarmed disclock + Almax chain + decent cover. Need to find a cover that doesn't melt on hot pipes like my cheap oxford one does though....

Or buy flower pot, 2 chunky d locks and some concrete. Submerge the d locks in and leave enough for you to thread a chain through. That's what I plan on doing here.
